Welcome to my Memoirs

Greetings and salutations.  Welcome to a place where the spotlight is where it should be - on my royal Pugness.

If you've never been owned by a Pug, you probably are unaware that we really run the planet, we just let our humans think that they're in charge.  It keeps them happy, and sometimes it's just enough that *we* know.

It can get annoying.  The humans always want to get into our beds.  Fortunately for them we require constant human affection or else we wouldn't put up with much of it.  I personally keep my humans on a very short leash.  I have to watch them constantly.

Mommy has not been my favorite person lately.  Around about November of last year Mommy and Daddy started taking me to a park every day to walk.  As time has gone on, the trips have gotten more and more sporadic.  I've tried everything.  I gave them Pug Eyes, which I personally don't understand how they can refuse anything I silently demand of them.  I've tried pugging them, but somehow they've grown immune.  I've even tried Pee Therapy.  If they won't take me out to find a tree, I make my own.  That's just the kind of Pug I am.

But alas, they take me only when it fits into their schedule.  If only they'd realize that there is no schedule they need to keep but to keep me happy we'd get along so much better. 

Anyway, Mommy, who is on a diet and needs to walk, finally got her act together this week and I got to go to the park twice.  I can tell the difference between November and April, it can get hot running from tree to tree.  Thankfully Daddy comes prepared.  He keeps a bottle of water in the car just for me.

So as you can see with my humans it's one step forward and two steps back.  Unfortunately they're not as smart as I am, thankfully for them I'm persistant.
