How I picked my humans...

See that cute lil pup in that picture?  That's me.  It's no wonder my humans fell in love with me at first sight.

I had only been in the pet store mere days before they happened by.  Being in a cage like that just watching people go by and not be able to love on anybody is torture for a Pug.

Finally three people came in and wanted to hold me right away.  Two I recognized from a few days earlier, and I was really glad they came back.  I was also glad they didn't waste any time getting me out of that cage.

The minute I was handed to the man who is now my Daddy, I immediately did my Pug Patented Taste Test on his goatee.  After a nibble or two I knew that this was the human for me.

I proceded to win over the two females he was with, the woman who is now my Mommy and her sister, my Aunt Chelle.  I acted just as cute as could be so that they wouldn't put me back in that cage, but take me home and lavish love on me.

It didn't take much, I had the three of them wrapped around my little paw in no time.  They plunked down the cash, wrapped me up in a jazzy red sweatshirt and took me home lickedy split.  They introduced me to a big family I'm proud now to call my own.

Every night I thank God that He brought my humans to me when He did.

We are a perfect match.

My name is Petey and I have my owners wrapped around my paw too.  I'm a weiner dog and they gush over me so much it's almost embarrasing, but I have learned to live with it.  They can't refuse me anything-isn't it a good life?!!  Hopefully one day we will meet, I have met one of your owners, Ginger-She is the skinny one with a high pitched lovey dovey voice that gets your tail wagging to where you can't think of anything but giving her sugars-the one that most animals walk miles to hear and seek her out.   Keep up the cute pug-ness and I will keep up the cute weiner-ness and we will rule the world one day :)  Petey
